These masterbatches are known as Bromine-Flame Retardants (BRFs). These compounds are incorporated into plastic, releasing hydrogen gas as the material burns. 100% Non-Halogenated Flame Retardants
It has gained immense popularity as it relies on intumescent systems, fire barriers and flame-retardant chemicals to prevent and suppress the spread of fire.
